Can EMI facility be pre-closed? Need advise

I have an HDFC Smart Buy CC and I want to pre close some of the EMIs I have on them. Any suggestions?

Credit Card Holder Can Pre Close there remaining Loan amount
(This amount includes the total interest for complete loan tenure) with 3% pre-closer fee.Holders have to request the bank to pre close the loan amount and according to bank he/she have to pay via the link sent by bank .
But from experience you can also manually type the remaining due amount and pay the full amount after applying for pre closing.This generally gets updated in the system within 2hrs after which the total limit is updated.

And for HDFC you need to go to your hdfc NetBanking app → Cards —> Select card & scroll down to select ‘Pay’, then pay the exact amount.If the payment link doesnt show up.
