I have never applied for a credit card before but recently everyone around me suggested to get one. Is there any credit card HDFC offers for its first time users? I am confused between all the available cards on their site.
Recently, I applied for a new CC from HDFC so I can tell you there are many cards available for first time users, even if you don’t have credit score!
You should at-least have 12,000 income per month and min age of 21.
If you don’t have credit score, HDFC offers Secured CC against fixed deposit account which you have to open with the bank. Otherwise there are different CC cards with varied benefits, I can tell you some I know of.
If you’re looking for cashbacks and rewards, as a beginner you can go for HDFC MoneyBack Credit Card. For shopping, dining, and movies, HDFC Freedom Credit Card is mostly used and if you only focus on online shopping, HDFC Millennia Credit Card is the best.
They require documents (different proofs) to verify you and your income. It’s pretty simple, you can either apply online or go to any HDFC branch.
