I am planning to apply for an HDFC credit card and I wanted to know if there are any HDFC credit cards that are offered as lifetime free. If yes, could you please name them?
No, there are no HDFC credit cards that are Life Time Free. But you may get your next year fees waived of on several credit cards. Following are the few examples-
- HDFC Millennia Credit Card- Its Joining/Renewal Membership Fees is ₹1,000/- + Applicable Taxes. But it can be waived off next year if you spend ₹1,00,000 or more in a year, before your Credit Card renewal date.
- HDFC Diners Club Black Credit Card- Its Joining/Renewal Membership Fee is Rs. 10,000/- plus Applicable Taxes. But it can be waived off next year if you spend Rs. 5 Lakhs in 12 Months.
- Tata Neu HDFC bank- It’s Joining/Renewal Membership Fee is ₹1,499/- + Applicable Taxes, but it can be waived off if you spend ₹3,00,000 or more in a year.
- HDFC Biz Grow- It’s Joining/Renewal Membership Fee – Rs. 500/- plus Applicable Taxes, but it can get waived off if you spend Rs. 1 Lakhs in an anniversary year.
Although HDFC Bank generally charges annual fees on most of its credit cards, you can often get them as lifetime free (LTF) during special promotions especially around festive seasons like Diwali, New Year, or during limited-time campaigns.
