Is the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card worth it for online shopping and cashback in India?

Hey everyone!
I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz about the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card lately. It promises 5% cashback on Flipkart and Cleartrip, 7.5% on Myntra, and even 4% on Swiggy and Uber. Sounds great for someone who shops online a lot — but I’m wondering, is it actually worth it compared to the Amazon Pay ICICI or SBI Cashback cards?

The Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card is a co-branded card designed mainly for heavy online shoppers. If most of your monthly expenses go into e-commerce, food delivery, or travel bookings, this one gives excellent value. The 5% cashback on Flipkart and Cleartrip plus 7.5% on Myntra can quickly add up, especially during festive sales or Big Billion Days. What makes it attractive is that the cashback is credited directly against your credit card statement, not as reward points — so it’s simple and instant.

For foodies and movie lovers, you also get 4% cashback on Swiggy, PVR, and cult.fit, and 15% off dining bills through Axis Bank’s Dining Delights program. The only downside is that there’s no airport lounge access anymore (removed after June 2025) and a ₹500 annual fee, but you can easily recover that with regular Flipkart purchases.

Here’s a quick comparison of the top 3 cashback cards:

Feature Flipkart Axis Bank Card Amazon Pay ICICI Card SBI Cashback Card
Annual Fee ₹500 + GST Lifetime Free ₹999 + GST
Cashback on Partner Sites 5% on Flipkart & Cleartrip 5% on Amazon (Prime) 5% on all online spends
Other Cashback 4% on Swiggy, Uber, PVR 1% on others 1% on offline
Dining Offer 15% off at 10,000+ restaurants 15% off via Culinary Treats None
Cashback Limit ₹4,000 per quarter (per site) No Cap ₹5,000 monthly

Best for:

  • Flipkart + Myntra shoppers

  • Regular Swiggy or Uber users

  • Those who prefer straightforward cashback over reward points

Hii there, from what I’ve seen, if you’re someone who shops regularly online especially on Flipkart and its partner platforms — the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card can be a worthwhile pick but its value really depends on how you spend and whether you maximise its benefits.

Given my own habits of frequent online shopping and some partner-merchant spends, I’d say yes, this card is worth it for me and for you if you do similarly.
But if you rarely shop on Flipkart, Myntra or use those preferred merchants, or you primarily spend offline or on non-partner merchants, then you might get better value from a more general cashback or rewards card.
