Safe annual spend limit on student cards

I am thinking to apply for student card, so I wanted to know the credit limit on student credit cards?

One of my friends has student credit card (Credit Cards against Fixed Deposit (FD) accounts) of ICICI bank and his credit limit is 90% of the FD amount.

For add-on credit cards, the credit limit is generally the same as that of the primary card. However, in some cases, the limit on add-on cards may be lower, as it is at the bank’s discretion to decide the credit limit for add-on cards.
For credit cards issued against a Fixed Deposit (FD), the credit limit is typically set at around 85% to 90% of the FD amount, depending on the bank’s policy.
