Step 1 – Never Share UPI PIN or OTP
Your UPI PIN is only for sending money, not receiving. If anyone asks for it, understand it is not at all safe. -
Step 2 – Verify Before Paying
Always check the name that appears before confirming payment. Fraudsters often use look-alike names or merchant IDs. -
Step 3 – Use Official Apps Only
Download UPI apps only from the Play Store/App Store. Avoid clicking on payment links sent by unknown numbers or emails.
