I was also wanted to know which is faster between UPI Lite, Wallets, and Debit Cards, so I compared them. Here’s what I noticed:
-
UPI Lite: I would say this one is super quick for small spends as it doesn’t ask for OTP or PIN everytime you do small transaction, even if your internet is weak it still works perfectly. But here is the catch, the limit is low which is ₹500 per payment, ₹2000 per day.
-
Wallets: These includes Paytm or PhonePe. It cones with cashback offers but you need to recharge them first. These are best for online payments and recharges.
-
Debit Cards: These are good for big purchases but they’re a bit slower as they need to swipe or enter OTP.
