Can any one here give me a complete break what are the transaction limits for loading the amazon pay wallet for a non kyc user… I have heard there is a limi of 10k but yesterday i tried to load the wallet using my icici credit card but it didnt worked out??Is the problem from my cc or apay?
The monthly limit of adding money to Amazon pay wallet is 10,000 for non-kyc users.
You can also check the limit on amazon pay official page - https://www.amazon.in/b?ie=UTF8&node=26270983031#:~:text=You%20are%20required%20to%20complete,10%2C000%20limit%20for%20the%20month.
The issue that you tried to load through credit card but didn’t work could be due to this reason -
When you add money to your wallet through credit card, it charges around 2.5% extra [ charges depends on the card types] like for 10,000 it will charge around 250 extra. which will take your amount to 10,250 which is more than the limit i.e. 10,000 for non-kyc customers.
So, either reduce the amount so that final amount is less than 10,000 after charges or do kyc to add more than 10,000 in the amazon pay wallet.
As far as I know 10k is the limit you can add the funds in the amazon wallet but if you use it in any bigger format like buying tickets, dinning etc then I would suggest you to do the Full-KYC or limit might be a problem in a while
The limit is 10k INR to load amazon pay wallet but that includes the convenience fee and GST charged on that. That means, you can load around INR 9764 without touching the 10k monthly limit.
For a non KYC Amazon Pay wallet the monthly limit for adding money is ₹10,000 and the total balance in the wallet also cannot go beyond ₹10,000 at any point. This is an RBI restriction on minimum KYC wallets so once you hit that limit the system will block further loads. If you tried adding with your ICICI Amazon Pay card and it failed, it’s most likely because your wallet already reached the cap and not an issue with the card itself. To get higher limits you need to complete full KYC where the balance can go up to ₹1 lakh and monthly loads are allowed accordingly.
