What is UPI AutoPay for recurring payments... while paying on UPI on Rupay CC? Help Needed/ Question

I came back to India after some time and ICICI gave me lifetime free Sapphiro credit cards.

Currently I pay my parents’ Indian bills using Google Pay which is tiring. Can I set up auto debit of most utilities on this credit card?

UPI AutoPay is part of the NPCI’s(its like government body over UPI) UPI 2.0 upgrade.
It lets you set up e-mandates for recurring payments like ott subscription,loan emi,utility bills etc.

For first time you authorize a one-time approval for a recurring payment via your UPI app and then app will automatically debit the amount on each date
