Hey guys, I was reading about the YES Bank POP Club Credit Card and saw that it rewards you with POPcoins. Does anyone know which partner platforms actually accept these POPcoins for redemption? Are they usable on shopping, travel, or food apps? Would love to hear real experiences.
I used the YES Bank POP Club Credit Card for like 9 months and man, trying to figure out where to actually spend those damn POPcoins was way more annoying than I thought it would be. POPcoins only work with certain partner apps but the options really suck which pissed me off since I thought I could use them anywhere like normal cash back.
Sometimes YES Bank would brag about adding new partners (more places to spend or whatever) but honestly, the main options stayed pretty much the same the whole time I had it.

Bullshit I had to deal with while trying to spend these coins:
- Way fewer partner options than they made it seem tons of places I actually shop weren’t included.
- Had to go through their stupid portal instead of just spending directly on websites.
- Couldn’t stack POPcoins with other discounts or offers, which was really annoying.
- Partners would randomly stop accepting coins without telling anyone.
So in short: POPcoins basically only work with Amazon, Flipkart, Zomato, and BookMyShow way more limiting than getting real cashback since you can’t spend them wherever you want, plus you’re stuck with whatever crappy partners they feel like keeping.
