I had paid the due amount before the due date yet i have been charged the late payment fees.
Late payment charge is levied only if:
1. At least Minimum Amount Due is not received in the card account by the Due Date
2. Minimum Amount Due has been paid but after the Due Date
3. No Payment / Payment less than the Minimum Amount Due is received in the card account
If you have paid your Bank of Baroda credit card bill before the due date and still got charged a late payment fee, it could be because the payment did not get credited on time. For example, NEFT, IMPS, or cheque payments can sometimes take a day or two to reflect. The best way forward is to immediately call BOB Financial customer care at 1800 103 1006 or email [email protected] with your payment reference details. If the payment was indeed made on time, they usually reverse the late fee after verification. You can also track your payment status on the BOB Financial payment portal.
