I read somewhere that Accor Plus discontinued “Member For A Day” benefit & Automatic Renewals updates. Is it true?

Yes, that’s correct Accor Plus has quietly removed the “Member For A Day” (MFD) certificates benefit they will no longer issue new MFD certificates after 31 July 2025, and any already issued certificates will remain valid only until 1 October 2025. Additionally, the membership terms now include an Automatic Renewal Plan, existing members will be offered the option to enable automatic renewal (via a toggle in their profile) around 30 days before their renewal date, while new members (joining on or after 30 June 2025) will have auto renewal enabled by default unless they switch it off at least two days before the payment date.
