Hello everyone at finanjo community.Right now i am having difficulty in using the HDFC payZapp. Its not working properly after I have done the kyc
Did anyone here in the community faced the same problem like me..TIA
These are the solution i found on the HDFC website
1. Your phone might be rooted or have dev tools
If PayZapp says “device is rooted,” it could be because of apps like Shizuku or LSPosed.
What to do: Uninstall those apps, turn off developer options, and restart your phone.
2. Your device or iOS/Android version is too old
PayZapp doesn’t work on iPhones below iOS 17 or some old Android phones.
What to do: Update your phone or use another device.
3. UPI payments are failing
This can happen due to wrong UPI PIN, slow internet, daily limit crossed, or server issues.
What to do: Check your PIN, make sure internet is fine, and try again later.
4. App is under maintenance
Sometimes HDFC takes down PayZapp or UPI for scheduled maintenance (usually late night or weekends).
What to do: Just wait it out—it usually starts working in a few hours.
5. KYC not done or account closed
If your HDFC account is closed or your mobile number/KYC isn’t updated, PayZapp login might fail.
What to do: Try logging in with your HDFC card or update KYC from the app.
6. “MyCards” or browser page keeps loading
Using PayZapp in browser sometimes doesn’t work because of cookies or saved shortcuts.
What to do: Clear browser cookies or use the app instead of browser.
7. App is buggy or stuck
Sometimes the app freezes after payments or doesn’t load bills properly.
What to do: Make sure KYC is done, reinstall the app, or raise a support ticket.
