AU Bank Nomo Credit Card: How to Apply Online, Eligibility, Requirements & Approval Timeline in India

I recently heard about the AU Bank Nomo Credit Card and saw that it comes with lifestyle benefits and international usability. I’m considering applying but not sure what the actual approval process looks like. Has anyone gone through the steps recently? What are the eligibility criteria and how long does it usually take for approval?

AU Bank Nomo Credit Card Eligibility Criteria:

I have submitted an application to this card one or two months earlier. The next thing I did was to take a look at the kind of documents I required. Then, I proceeded to make application on the steps. I have discussed all the information extensively according to my knowledge and experience here:

  • You have to be an Indian citizen with the age between 21-60 years

  • A monthly income (salaried or self employed) of at least 30,000 rupees is desirable

  • My CIBIL score stood at 715 and it was run through

  • There is no requirement that he or she has an existing AU Bank relationship but it can assist

  • They also took into consideration job stability, in my situation 1+ year with the same company

How I Applied for the AU Bank Nomo Credit Card Online:

I did not use the service of any third-party aggregator and simply found the site of the AU Small Finance Bank. That is what I did:

  • Investigated the AU bank site where I entered the phrase name, Nomo Credit Card, and hit the Apply button

  • Filled in the basic information: PAN, cell phone number, income and email

  • The e-KYC verification through Aadhaar done online has been completed.

  • I have uploaded 2 months of the payslip and my 3 months of the bank statement

  • Then I uploaded a digital passport photo

  • No documentation, no branch visit and the whole thing took me less than 10 minutes on my phone

And when applying online, they requested the following:

  • PAN Card

  • Aadhaar Card (id and address proof)

  • The two recent payslips

  • Last 3 months Bank statement

  • A digital upload of one passport size photograph.

How Long Did Approval and Card Delivery Take?:

My documents were verified the following day after submission of documents The time of approval was approximately 2 working days. The tangible card arrived at my address in 6-days. It is possible to check your status on the AU Bank site using the mobile number or application ID.
