Axis Bank Devalues Dining Delights with EazyDiner! What’s Changing and How Bad Is It Really?

If you’ve been cash in on those sweet Axis Bank Dining Delights offers on EazyDiner, especially the flat 25% off or BOGO buffets, brace yourself — it’s being quietly crippled. Starting August 1, 2025, there’s a whole new set of restrictions.

What’s the new EazyDiner offer with Axis Bank cards?

  • No more standard 25% off on premium restaurants.

  • Instead, you get up to 20% off at select places and the extra 5% (max ₹500) only if:

    • You use Axis Bank credit/debit cards, AND

    • Pay through PayEazy on EazyDiner

What about the Buffet BOGO?

This was the golden goose, especially for folks who dined at premium hotel chains. Now:

  • Buffet BOGO is scrapped for all cards except Axis Reserve and Burgundy Private.

  • Even then, it’s limited and not across all hotels.

Axis is trimming benefits across the board — credit card rewards, milestone perks, and now dining too. Reason? Likely cost-cutting + too many users squeezing max value. They’re optimizing for “profitable” users now.

So which cards still give EazyDiner value?

  • Axis Reserve – Still has some perks left (but only if you’re spending lakhs per month, lol).

  • HDFC Infinia/Diners Black – These cards give EazyDiner Prime free + decent discounts.

  • AU Zenith + EazyDiner Combo – Still going strong.
