Just saw the news of SBI Unipay removing the HDFC Bank debit card option to pay credit card bills to earn rewards. Is there any other platform or bank which still offers rewards to pay credit card bills?

There is still a loophole. Hope SBI does not notice and disable it.
You could select SBI DC in the payment option and then go ahead and pay using any bank debit card. Worked for me and many other online. Good luck

Right now, CRED is still the most popular option. You won’t get crazy rewards but they do throw in occasional cashback, scratch cards, or discount vouchers when you pay your credit card bill through them. It’s nothing huge, but better than nothing.
Most banks and apps have shut down debit card rewards for credit card payments, and wallet routes don’t really work anymore either since RBI clamped down on wallet to credit card tricks. A few folks try loading wallets or prepaid cards using credit cards that still give points and then use that balance to pay another credit card, but it’s super hit or miss and often not worth the hassle.
For now, just keep an eye on apps like CRED or even Paytm. Sometimes they run promos or targeted cashback for bill payments. No consistent hack left at the moment, but things keep changing.

In general credit card bill payments are now treated as utility transactions so they don’t earn regular rewards.
