You can’t use Amazon Pay balance for fuel payments at IOCL, BPCL or HPCL outlets. RBI has restricted wallet money from being used on things like fuel, insurance and other high value spends. At petrol pumps you will only see Amazon Pay UPI as a payment option, not the wallet balance. So if you want to pay directly from your Amazon account at fuel stations, stick to UPI. The wallet balance is better kept for food orders, tickets, recharges and Amazon shopping.
