Cardholders will not receive 1% cashback on any EMI spends, including EMI transactions made on the 10 online merchants eligible for the 5% cashback category.
Yes, you can receive cashback on EMI transactions when you use the HDFC Millennia Credit Card.
Cashback on Online EMI Transactions: If you convert an eligible online purchase (from Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) into EMI at checkout, you can still receive 5% cashback (in the form of CashPoints) even if the transaction meets the ₹2,000 minimum spend requirement.
Cashback on Post-Purchase EMI: If you make a regular purchase and then convert it to EMI via NetBanking, you will still receive cashback at the standard rates (5% for some brands, 1% for others).
EMI does not get cashback on purchases for insurance, wallet loads, gasoline, rent, or government transactions.
