As a Cardholder I am not getting Cashpoints on all spends, why so?
No Cashback or CashPoints on:
- Fuel spends
- Rent payments and Government-related transactions
- Cash advances
- Payment of outstanding balances
- Payment of card fees and other charges
- EMI transactions
Monthly CashPoints Cap:
- If a cardholder exceeds the 1,000 CashPoints cap in a month, no further CashPoints will be rewarded for the remaining spends in that month.
Effective from 1st January 2023:
Rent payments and Government-related transactions will not earn CashPoints or cashback.
If you’re not receiving CashPoints on all your spends with the HDFC Millennia Credit Card, it could be due to the following reasons:
1. Transactions that are not eligible for cashback
- Wallet reloads
- Rent payments
- EMI transactions
- Government-related payments
2. Minimum Transaction Value for Cashback Eligibility
- 5% cashback (Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy, Zomato, etc.) → Requires a minimum transaction of ₹2,000.
- If a transaction is below ₹2,000, you won’t earn CashPoints.
3. Cashback Capping Limits
- ₹1,000 per month cap on 5% cashback category.
- ₹750 per month cap on 1% cashback category.
- If you’ve already hit the cap, no further CashPoints will be credited.
4. Pending or Delayed Cashback Credit
- CashPoints are typically credited within 90 days of the transaction date.
- Check if your transactions are still under the processing period.
