Federal Bank devalued its credit card and has revised Airport Lounge Access on Credit Cards

From now onwards Federal bank will require to hit certain spending requirements on it’s credit card to access its benefits.
All Federal Bank Credit Cards will now require minimum spending to avail lounge access. So here are the full details-

  • Spending Required in the Previous Quarter-
  • Signet- ₹20,000- 1 Domestic Lounge Access (Every Quarter)
  • Imperio-₹40,000-2 Domestic Lounge Access (Every Quarter)
  • Celesta -₹60,000- 2 Domestic Lounge Access (Every Quarter) and 2 International (Each Years)

Cardholders shall no longer be eligible for airport lounge access from 1st October 2025. Celesta credit card has reduced number of complimentary domestic lounge visits, in addition to the new spending criteria.

Yes, Federal Bank has revised lounge benefits across its credit cards effective 1st October 2025. Now you’ll need to meet minimum quarterly spends to unlock lounge access. For Signet it’s ₹20k for 1 domestic visit, Imperio is ₹40k for 2 domestic visits, and Celesta is ₹60k for 2 domestic visits per quarter plus 2 international visits per year. Celesta also sees a cut in the number of free domestic visits. So unlike earlier where lounge access was automatic, going forward you’ll only get it if you cross the spend threshold.
