HDFC Regalia Gold Priority Pass

I was upgraded to HDFC Regalia GOLD from Regalia. The free international lounge access limit is 6 per year for both, using Priority Pass. The Priority Pass with Regalia has validity upto 12/2024. I had already used it this year for 3 international lounge accesses. The Priority Pass received with Regalia GOLD has a new card number, different from the old Priority Pass.

  1. Can I use this new Priority Pass (received with GOLD) for 6 more free international lounge accesses this year?
  2. Can I still use the old Priority Pass (with Regalia) for the remaining 3 more free international lounge accesses this year?

The answer to first question is YES. New pass has new quota.

The second question is easy to find out: take both passes with you swipe the older one first.

Thank you very much.

After 6 accesses, it will charge $27 per visit. By that logic, if the old one is not supposed to be used, i will be charged $27

No, if it has remaining free access, your concern is that it would work or not, right?

If it doesn’t work means it is closed. Else you get 3 more.

I just hope this won’t happen: The old one works and then I am charged $27 as no more free accesses are left for the old Priority Pass (as I am supposed to use the new one)

Every scenario no matter how improbable has its own chances.

But still I cint imagine why remaining free access be transferred to new unrelated pass.

It can be deactivated, yes because associated credit card is closed.

But deactivated pass won’t give you paid lounge access anyways.
