My idfc first credit was blocked and i want to activate it now. What is the procedure for doing so?
You may activate your temporarily blocked IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Card by following the below steps:
- Log into your IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking app/Internet banking account
- Click on ‘Credit Card’
- Click on ‘Unblock’ and then click on ‘Confirm’

If your IDFC FIRST Bank credit card is blocked, call customer care at 1800 10 888 to check the reason. If it’s due to inactivity or a missed payment, clearing dues or confirming usage may be enough.
If it’s temporarily blocked, they can usually unblock it after verifying your details. If permanently blocked, you’ll need to request a replacement card through the app, net banking, or by visiting a branch.
If this is a temporary block (due to unauthorised transaction or stolen/lost), you could request for a replacement card from the IDFC First Application or the website. You could also call the customer care at 1800 10 888.
