In the state of Rajasthan, the official portal for both downloading a birth certificate and making corrections is the “Pehchan” portal.

How to Download Your Birth Certificate:
1. Go to the Pehchan portal.
2. Log in or register (you may need mobile number or Aadhaar).
3. Find the “Birth Certificate” or “Download Certificate” option.
4. Enter required details (date of birth, registration number or mobile number) and verify via OTP if needed.
5. Once validated, download the digitally signed PDF version of your birth certificate.
How to Correct/Amend a Birth Certificate:
1. On the same portal, look for the option for “Correction/Amendment” in the birth certificate section.
2. Fill the correction form, upload supporting documents (for example: original certificate, proof for correction such as school certificate, hospital report, identity proof).
3. Submit the application after verification by the registrar, the corrected certificate will be issued/downloadable.
4. If the registration was delayed (beyond 21 days), additional procedure or fees may apply.
