How can I increase my PayZapp wallet transaction limit?

I keep hitting the ₹10,000 limit on my PayZapp wallet, and it’s very inconvenient. Is there a way to request a higher limit so I can make larger payments?

The only way to increase your PayZapp wallet transaction limit is by upgrading your account from a “Minimum KYC” wallet to a “Full KYC” wallet. This is a one-time verification process mandated by the RBI that permanently raises your limits. You cannot request a limit increase through any other method.

Step 1: Understand That Your Limit is Tied to Your KYC Status

My cousin was frustrated because his PayZapp wallet limit was stuck at ₹10,000. He was searching the app for a “Request Limit Increase” button. I had to explain that this low limit is not set by PayZapp, but by the RBI for all basic wallets. It’s a mandatory cap that cannot be changed until the KYC is complete.

Step 2: Begin the Full KYC Process to Increase Your Limit

I faced the same problem when I first started using the app. The solution was to complete my Full KYC. I had to open the app and tap on the ‘Upgrade Wallet’ banner on the home screen. The first part of the process involved entering my PAN card and Aadhaar card details as prompted by the app.

Step 3: Complete Video Verification to Finalize the Limit Increase

After I submitted my document details, the final step was a short, live video call with a bank agent. My colleague, who did this recently, told me to keep his original PAN card ready to show on camera. Once his video verification was approved, his wallet balance limit was automatically increased to ₹2,00,000.
