I am a student from Bihar, just passed my class 12, and will be starting my graduation in few months. I recently got to know about Bihar student credit card scheme. So I want to how know much money is disbursed through the Bihar student credit card scheme to each student? And what’s the eligibility for this scheme?
Under Bihar Credit card scheme, each student gets an education loan of upto ₹4 lakhs to pursue undergraduate studies at an interest rate as low as 4%
The interest rate is reduced to just 1%, if you are-
1.) Female student
2.) Transgender student
3.) Student with disability
Eligibility criteria for Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme-
1.) Residency- Student must be a resident of Bihar state.
2.) Age- Student must be between the age of 18-25
3.) Education requirement- Student must have passed class 12th
4.) Annual Family Income- Must be less than Rs. 6 lakhs
5.) Marks- Student must have scored at least 50% marks in class 12th
