Before starting, make sure that you transfer any remaining amount to your bank account or use it for a payment. Your wallet must have a zero balance before deactivation.
To deactivate-
- Open the paytm app and go to âHelp & Supportâ.
- Navigate to 24x7 Help > More Products & Services > Profile & Other Issues > I want to close/delete my account.
- Select âI donât use this Paytm accountâ or âClose my Paytm Walletâ.
- Than upload a selfie, government ID, or confirm your registered mobile number, especially if your wallet is KYC-verified.
- This can take upto 5â7 business days.
