I went through the same issue when I changed my phone number and suddenly stopped receiving SMS alerts and OTPs for my HDFC credit card. Thankfully, updating the number wasn’t complicated once I understood the process.
To update your mobile number for your HDFC Bank credit card, the most convenient way is to log in to HDFC NetBanking. After logging in, go to the Contact Details or Personal Details section under your credit card account. There, you’ll find the option to update your registered mobile number.
Once you submit the new number, an OTP will be sent for verification, and the change is usually reflected shortly after.
If you don’t use NetBanking, you can also visit the nearest HDFC Bank branch with your ID proof and fill out a request form to update your mobile number.
