How to deactivate Kotak net banking?

I have a Kotak Mahindra Bank account but I don’t want to use net banking anymore. Can anyone explain how to deactivate Kotak net banking permanently? Do I need to visit the branch and submit a request, or is there an online option available for deactivation through customer support?

My Kotak net banking turned into this daily torture that drove me absolutely crazy. Every single time I tried logging in, something stupid would happen got locked out, those dumb security codes never showed up, or I’d sit there guessing which password actually worked this week.

After dealing with this garbage for months, I just said forget it and decided to bank like my parents do.

What I Had to Deal With How It Actually Played Out
Looking for an Easy Way Out Spent my entire evening clicking around their website looking for something that apparently doesn’t exist
Making the Trip Had to burn my lunch break driving to their branch because they don’t let you quit online
Paperwork Time Filled out their deactivation form and handed over my ID like I was applying for something important
Getting Checked Out The staff went through my information pretty thoroughly to make sure I was really me
Playing the Waiting Game Took them three days to actually turn the thing off

What It Cost Me

No money but definitely cost me time and some aggravation. Having to take time off work for something this simple felt pretty annoying.

The Parts That Worked Out

The people at the branch actually knew what they were doing and didn’t make me feel stupid for wanting out. They gave me some paperwork showing they’d actually done what I asked. My regular card still works fine for everything else.

My Take on the Whole Thing

  • Kotak loves talking about how modern and digital they are, but when you want to stop using their digital stuff, suddenly everything has to be done the old-fashioned way. It made me realize that sometimes the simple approach actually causes fewer headaches.

  • Now I just hit the ATM when I need cash and talk to real people when I need help with something. Honestly feels way less stressful than dealing with their online system that never seemed to work right.
