Just installed the HDFC PayZapp app and created my account. I see there’s a “wallet” feature in it, but I’m a bit confused about how to actually use it for day-to-day stuff like recharges, bills, or even shopping.
Do I need to load money into the wallet first? Can I link my HDFC account or card directly instead? Also, how do refunds or cashback work—do they go to the wallet or my bank?

How to Load Money into HDFC PayZapp Wallet
1. Open the App
– Launch the HDFC PayZapp app on your phone
– Make sure you’re logged in with your registered mobile number
2. Go to the Wallet Section
– Tap on the “Wallet” icon or section on the homepage
– You’ll see your current wallet balance
3. Tap on “Add Money”
– Select the “Add Money” or “Top Up” option
– Enter the amount you want to load (e.g., ₹500 or ₹1000)
4. Choose Payment Method
– Pick from:
• HDFC Debit Card
• HDFC Credit Card
• Other bank debit/credit cards
• Net Banking (for some banks)
5. Confirm and Authenticate
– Complete the payment using OTP or card PIN
– Once done, the amount will instantly reflect in your wallet
6. Done
– You can now use this balance for recharges, bill payments, credit card dues, etc.
