Firstly add money to Paytm wallet from debit/credit card, netbanking etc. it can be used for several things such as paying your utility bills, paying online in stores or transferring to a bank account.
You can use Paytm for-
1.) Paying utility bills-You can pay your utility bills on time.
2.) Transferring money- You can transfer money to anyone(paytm user).
3.) Recharge- Recharge your mobile or DTH connection using the wallet.
4.) In store payments- Many offline merchants accept Paytm Wallet payments, often through QR codes.

1. Add Money to Your Wallet:
Open the Paytm app, and locate the “Paytm Wallet” or “My Paytm” section on the homepage.
Tap “Add Money”, enter the amount you wish to load, and choose your preferred payment method—UPI, debit card, credit card, or net banking. Authorize as prompted, and the amount is instantly reflected in your wallet.
2. Make Payments with Your Wallet:
To make a payment, simply select “Pay” in the app. You can scan a QR code, enter the recipient’s mobile number, or choose from your contacts.
When finalizing the payment, switch the payment mode to Paytm Wallet if it’s not already selected. Confirm the amount and authenticate to complete the transaction.
3. Transfer Wallet Balance to Your Bank:
If you have completed your KYC, you can transfer wallet funds to your bank account.
Tap on “Transfer to Bank” within the wallet section, enter the amount (₹100 minimum), provide bank details, and confirm.
The limits are ₹25,000 per transaction and ₹1,00,000 per day, with no extra charges.
4. Receive Money via Paytm UPI:
Want to receive money? Share your UPI ID, mobile number, QR code, or linked bank account details with the sender.
Once sent via UPI, the funds directly land in your bank account linked to Paytm.
