Is the IndiGo Kotak Credit Card worth getting for regular travelers in India?

Hey everyone, I just came across the IndiGo Kotak co-branded credit cards they’re currently offering First Year Free on IndiGo’s website. I fly quite often for work and leisure, so I’m wondering if this card is actually worth it or just another marketing gimmick. Has anyone here tried it?

If you often fly with IndiGo, then the IndiGo Kotak Credit Card and IndiGo Kotak XL Credit Card can actually help you save money and earn flight rewards. Every time you use these cards for booking IndiGo flights, adding seats, or ordering meals — you earn points called IndiGo 6E Rewards (BluChips). Later, you can use these points to book future IndiGo flights. Right now, both cards are First Year Free, which means you don’t need to pay any joining fee to get started.

The IndiGo Kotak Credit Card is the basic version. It gives you rewards and flight discounts but doesn’t include airport lounge access. The IndiGo Kotak XL Credit Card is the premium one it gives 2 free domestic lounge visits per quarter, more BluChip points, and extra rewards if you spend more in a year.

However, these cards don’t give international lounge access or travel insurance, which you can get with other premium options like HDFC Diners Club Privilege or Axis Atlas.

So, if you mostly fly IndiGo and want to save on tickets and earn flight points, these Kotak cards are a good choice. But if you want cashback, international lounge access, or rewards for all airlines, then a general travel credit card might be better for you.
