Got my SBM ZET about 5 months back expecting some welcome goodies man, was I let down!
Their joining stuff is honestly weak compared to other cards I’ve seen. Here’s what went down when I actually got approved:

- No welcome surprises - other cards give you vouchers immediately, ZET gives nothing
- Cashback comes with homework - spend ₹5k in 30 days or forget the ₹500
- Lounge access is legit - used it at Bangalore airport, worked perfectly
- Fuel benefit actually helps - saves me around ₹80-90 monthly
- Card came in basic envelope - no fancy box or welcome letter
Things that annoyed me:
- Expected Amazon vouchers like my roommate got with his card
- That ₹500 took like 6 weeks to show up in my account
- Support guy never mentioned I had to spend ₹5k first
Honest take: Don’t expect any exciting welcome treats or instant bonuses. They basically give you ₹500 if you spend enough, that’s it.
The lounge thing and fuel savings are decent for regular use though. Just don’t get your hopes up for a fancy welcome experience!
