If you can maintain 10K balance, open an account with HDFC or ICCI in hope to get pre approved cards. As you’re a student, most of the banks don’t offer cards to students so your best bet to get credit card is to get pre approved offer. Check Amazon app and see if they have pre approved offer for Amazon ICICI card for you or not. You need to put self employed in occupation section to process the application.
Been a ICICI customer for last 2, 3 yrs. As I declare myself as a self employed person and I don’t have any job right now apart from part time things so putting fake number in income will cause any trouble ?
No, it won’t. Just don’t pump the numbers very hard. Keep the numbers in between 3-4 Lakhs, Banks don’t report your income to IT dept. Did you ever try for Amazon-ICICI card? Try it if you fullfill age criteria, these days Amazon Card is being approved easily.
