What are the perks of Taj InnerCircle Platinum, and is it worth it?

Platinum sounds fancy, but what exclusive benefits do you actually get at this tier? Do they offer suite upgrades, late checkout, free spa treatments, or any extra perks that make it worth chasing Platinum status?

Taj InnerCircle Platinum is honestly worth it if you stay at Taj hotels a lot—like 40+ nights a year or spending ₹8 lakh annually. I managed to hit Platinum once, and the perks were actually noticeable.

The biggest advantage? 15% bonus points on all stays, which means your rewards pile up much faster. The room upgrades are a hit or miss, though—I got lucky a few times and was bumped up to a suite, but other times, it wasn’t available. Guaranteed availability (if you book 72 hours in advance) saved me once when everything was fully booked, and the priority early check-in/late check-out is great when you have odd travel timings.

If you’re someone who regularly books Taj’s luxury properties, Platinum is amazing. But if you just stay at Taj occasionally, Gold status (which you can get free with some SBI cards) is probably enough. Platinum is worth it only if you’re staying at Taj properties super frequently—otherwise, it’s a tough tier to maintain.
