A credit card upgrade is a process of transitioning from an existing credit card to a higher variant credit card with better benefits and features.
Usually, banks send an invitation for a credit card upgrad. as a customers, we can also request for upgrade.
Suppose an individual holds an HDFC Bank Regalia Gold Credit Card If the bank sends an invitation to upgrade to an HDFC Bank Diners Club Black Credit Card.
We can call this a credit card upgrade
If you accept the credit card invitation, then the bank will send you the new Credit card ones you start using the new credit card, the existing card will be discussed.
