I checked this a few days ago because I also have a PPF account. The government has kept the PPF interest rate stable this year. Currently in 2025, the interest rate is 7.10% per year, and it is calculated yearly on the money you keep in your account.
This rate has not been changed for the April–June or July–September quarters of 2025, so it’s the same as before. This gives me peace of mind because the return is fixed and safe, even if other investments may change.
