I need to buy a product from Amazon or flipkart during this sale because I’m leaving for my master’s soon. If I order it now, it’ll be delivered by 21st Sep. But since the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2025 sale starts on 23rd Sep, I’m wondering if it’s worth waiting. If I place the order on the 23rd, will it still reach me before the 28th? Do deliveries usually get delayed during the sale period?
It will depend on the products you want to buy, usually seller expect that massive orders in the sale season but delays are expected if the product is has low stock and the seller is new so check the seller has if they are a established so there the chances are lower of delays
During the Amazon Great Indian Festival or Flipkart Big Billion Days sale , delivery can take longer due to huge demand. If you order now, you’ll likely get it by 21st Sept, but ordering on 23rd Sept may risk delays beyond 28th. Prime and Flipkart Assured items ship faster, but during festive sales even they face courier strain. If you need the product before leaving, it’s safer to order now.
My experience with Amazon Prime has been good even during past Great Indian Festival sales — delivery was usually on time or just a day late. Flipkart Big Billion Days was a bit more unpredictable; one of my orders was delayed almost a week. If your product is something popular and Amazon-fulfilled, you’ll probably get it in time. But yeah, there’s always a risk in festive sales because courier partners are overloaded.
