What is the difference between unbilled transactions and transaction history?

I would like to know why some transactions are listed in the main transaction history and others are in the “unbilled” section.

Please clarify how the transaction history displays all previous billed and paid transactions, while unbilled transactions reflect recent expenditures not yet included in the current billing cycle.

I used to believe that every transaction made with my SBI credit card appeared in a single list, but in actuality, the “Transaction History” and “Unbilled Transactions” sections have distinct functions. All of the billed and paid transactions that are part of your outstanding or settled balance and have already been included in your monthly statement are shown in your main transaction history. Unbilled transactions, on the other hand, display recent charges or purchases that were made after your most recent billing date but have not yet been included in your current statement. When the next bill is created, these will be moved to the main history.

Therefore, if you make a purchase after your statement is generated, the amount will stay in the unbilled section until the following billing cycle. After it is billed, it will move to the main transaction list. This enables you to better manage your payments by tracking your entire spending in real time, including both billed and upcoming expenses.
