Hello,
I’m planning to apply for the Kiwi UPI credit card and would like to know the eligibility criteria for it. Also, what is the application process can I apply for this card online?
The eligibility criteria for the Kiwi credit card are quite straightforward, you just need to be an Indian resident and between 18 to 70 years of age.
To apply for Kiwi credit card follow these steps-
To get started, download the Kiwi: RuPay Credit Card on UPI app on your smartphone.
Tap on ‘Login’ and enter your registered mobile number.
You’ll receive a one-time password (OTP); enter it to continue.
After logging in, you’ll be assigned a waitlist ID.
Once logged in, you can apply for your virtual Kiwi Credit Card directly through the app.
If you’re looking to apply for the Kiwi UPI credit card, eligibility mainly depends on your credit score, income, and existing bank relationship. Most Kiwi cards are issued in partnership with banks like Axis, Yes Bank, and SBM, so the final approval depends on the issuing bank’s criteria.
You typically need to be at least 21 years old, have a stable income, and a decent credit score (usually 700+). If you’re a first-time applicant, some banks may offer it as a secured card against a fixed deposit.
The application is fully online. You can apply through the Kiwi app, where you fill in basic details, complete KYC, and get matched with a suitable bank partner. Once approved, the card is linked with UPI and can be used through apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, or BHIM. It’s a quick process, and in many cases, you get a virtual card instantly.
