Can anyone tell me what is the procedure to transfer PPF account?
So it can seem like the process is very hard to let me tell you if want to transfer your PPF account from one bank or post office to another, you don’t have to do much work. Here’s what you need to do:
Procedure to Transfer PPF Account
- First, visit your current bank or post office where the PPF is held.
- Next, ask for the PPF transfer form and fill it out.
- After that, submit the form along with your PPF passbook and KYC documents (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.).
- The old branch will send your account details, balance, and documents to the new bank you choose.
- The new bank office will open the account there and issue you a fresh passbook.
