What questions do they ask in Vkyc for Credit cards?

I’m going to complete my video KYC for the HDFC Pixel Credit Card and this is my first time doing a VKYC for any credit card. I’m a bit unsure about how the process works, so I wanted to check a few things.

Do they conduct the video KYC in Hindi or English, or can I choose the language during the call? Also, if I’m busy at the scheduled time, will they allow me to reschedule the video KYC easily? Any guidance from people who have already done it would really help.

What They Usually Ask in Video KYC for Credit Cards

1. Basic Personal Details
They’ll confirm your name, date of birth, and registered address. Just answer exactly as you wrote in the form.

2. Current Address Check
They may ask your current place of residence to match it with the address on the form.

3. Occupation & Income
Sometimes they’ll ask about your job type or monthly income for a quick cross-verification.

4. PAN Card Verification
You’ll need to show your physical PAN card clearly on the camera. Hold it steady and let them read it.

5. Aadhaar Handling
Aadhaar is usually verified in the backend.
Do not show your Aadhaar on camera unless the agent specifically asks for it.

6. Face Verification
They may ask you to blink, turn your head slightly, or read a line to confirm liveness and match your face with your documents.

7. Final Confirmation
The last step is usually a simple: “Do you confirm all the details you provided are true?”
Just say yes.

Language:
You can speak in Hindi or English. Just tell the agent what you prefer. They’re totally fine with either.

Rescheduling:
If you’re busy, you can reschedule the VKYC from the link itself. And even if you miss it, they usually send a new link to try again. No stress.
