Hey, I’ve recently joined the Air India Maharaja Club and started collecting Maharaja points. From when am I actually eligible to start redeeming these points for flights or other rewards?

When You Can Start Redeeming:
The good news is that you don’t have to wait long. As soon as your Maharaja points are credited to your Flying Returns account, you become eligible to redeem them. There isn’t a fixed “waiting period” once the points show up in your account balance, you can use them.
Minimum Points Requirement:
Do note that redemption depends on having enough points for the reward you want. For instance, a short domestic flight might require fewer points compared to an international business-class ticket. If you don’t yet have the full points for a ticket, you can also explore the “cash + points” option, which allows partial redemption.

You can start redeeming on:
• Air India flights (domestic and international).
• Star Alliance partner airlines worldwide.
• Upgrades to higher class cabins.
