I was checking my credit score, but I couldn’t find it. Could you please help me understand the possible reasons why my credit score is not showing up? Also, what steps should I take now to access or generate my credit score successfully?
It’s possible that you’re not able to see your credit score because you haven’t taken a loan or held a credit card yet. To solve this, you need to start building your credit profile by taking a credit card against a fixed deposit. Once you have a credit card, make sure to pay your bills on time and keep your credit utilization ratio below 30%.

Possible Reasons that you were not able to find your credit score are-
1.) You have no credit history means have never used a credit card or haven’t took a loan
2.) If you have used a credit product earlier, but haven’t used it in past 36 months.
3.) You’re a recent immigrant.
HI Anushka do you have a credit card or not? If not, then you would not be able to see it. If yes, contact the credit bureaus directly to check for any errors or to see if their data is on file

If you have never had a credit card or a loan, the best way would be to apply for a secured credit card with an FD of as less as 1000 rupees. Successful payment of the dues every month will build your credit score
